$50.00

Irish is a beautiful language which is older than English and has existed for at least two thousand years.

You can learn a little Irish to impress your family or to show respect to native speakers in Ireland. Learning Irish will give you insights about how to think in another language and is a great way to stave off cognitive decline.

Conversational Irish: Total Beginner Class

Meant for total beginners, this class will teach simple conversational phrases as well as basic grammar and pronunciation. The cultural and historical background of the language is also introduced. Other resources will be available via the Internet.

Class particulars:

The class will be held in the side room of the Grace O’Malley’s Irish Public House in Matthews, N.C. on the Mondays in 2025 starting at 4:30 PM through 5:45 PM from April 7th through June 16th (excluding Memorial Day). The cost is $50 and you can register online or by cash or check at the first class.
